An eleventh PROFIBUS training trip to Australia has been announced. The courses, which include Certified PROFIBUS Installer, PROFIBUS Commissioning & maintenance and Certified PROFIBUS Engineer, are taking place in the cities of Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane in May 2012.

Procentec have recently released a number of new modules for the COMbricks unit. These include the long awaited repeater module with built in oscilloscope function. This module supports streaming of the ProfiTrace data as well as live waveform visualisation, all available over Ethernet.

Verwer Training & Consultancy Ltd has installed the first of a new type of PROFIBUS network repeater and monitoring tool into the automated wheel & tyre assembly plant run by Voith Industrial Services at Vauxhall’s car manufacturing complex at Ellsemere Port.
